Jub Jub Opens Up About Choosing Liposuction After Struggling with Belly Fat

South African rapper and television host Jub Jub, whose real name is Molemo Maarohanye, has shared that he is undergoing liposuction to remove stubborn belly fat after years of struggling to lose it. The Uyajola 9/9 host made the announcement on Instagram, where he openly explained his decision and showed parts of his medical consultation.

In a video posted on his social media, Jub Jub revealed that he recently visited Herrwood Medical Centre and is preparing for the procedure. The video shows a doctor marking his stomach, outlining the areas where the stubborn fat will be removed. According to Jub Jub, this decision did not come easily, but after trying many other methods, he felt liposuction was the right choice for him.

The rapper admitted that the past few years have been difficult when it comes to dealing with his belly fat. Despite making several attempts to lose weight, he says nothing gave him the results he wanted. In the caption of the video, he honestly shared his frustration.

“It’s been a rough couple of years with this here belly. I got time to maintain it, but I don’t have time to lose it. Even with this, I still gotta maintain a good diet plan,” he wrote.

While the doctor was marking his stomach, Jub Jub also spoke about the different weight-loss methods he had tried before deciding on liposuction. These included injections and medication such as Ozempic, which has become popular for weight loss.

“I tried everything from Ozempic, whatever injections, all those funny things, you know,” he said.

Jub Jub also added a personal and humorous touch when explaining why dieting has been challenging for him. He admitted that changing his eating habits has not been easy, especially when it comes to food he loves.

“I like meat… being a black person… you can’t tell me to stay away from my meat,” says Jub Jub.

Despite choosing liposuction, the rapper made it clear that the procedure is not a quick fix and that he still plans to live a healthy lifestyle. He understands that maintaining the results will require discipline and a good diet.
