The National Council of Provinces delegation has reinforced its commitment to improving agricultural service delivery through a structured oversight visit under the Taking Parliament to the People programme. The visit focused on direct engagement with provincial leadership, agricultural institutions, and local economic sites in the North West. Led by the Chairperson of the Select Committee on Agriculture, Land Reform and Mineral Resources, the delegation aimed to assess progress, identify challenges, and strengthen coordination between government structures. The programme places emphasis on accountability and practical engagement with communities that depend on agriculture for livelihoods. It also ensures that parliamentary oversight remains connected to real conditions on the ground.
