Miguel’s warning to Sundowns: We are Kaizer Chiefs, we fear no one!

Kaizer Chiefs defender Inacio Miguel has send a stern warning to Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of Saturday’s showdown at FNB Stadium.

The two giants of South African football will battle it out for three points on the day.

Kick-off is at 15:00.

And while Chiefs have won their opening two league games and sit atop the Betway Premiership standings, Sundowns have, over the years, dominated this fixture.

The Brazilians head into this encounter on the back of a hard-fought 3-2 win over TS Galaxy, and they will be aiming for a convincing win.

However, on the back of it all, Miguel said Amakhosi‘s objectives are clear, and they are to win their own matches to reach their targets.

KAIZER CHIEFS FEAR NO ONE, SAYS MIGUEL TO SUNDOWNS

“My understanding is that we need to respect that Mamelodi Sundowns won the Champions League, Sundowns is Sundowns but at the same time we are Kaizer Chiefs, you know, we also fight for our goals,” Miguel told reporters.

“We fear no-one!

“I think the message is very clear, we fear no-one, no matter if they are the champions of the Champions League or the PSL, we will face them as we face Sekhukhune as I said before.

“We will start the game with the same ambition, with the same spirit of fighting. We go in for every duel and that’s the message very clear from the coach,” concluded Miguel.
