The new Mrs South Africa is Carika Bebb, who has taken over the crown from Verushka Singh just four months into Singh’s reign.
The Mrs South Africa organisation announced the news on social media, saying: “A Queen rises. @carikabebb officially assumes the title of Mrs South Africa 2026. We’re proud. We’re excited. And we’re behind you every step of the way.”
In the comments, Carika Bebb expressed her excitement and gratitude for the opportunity. She wrote, “It is an absolute privilege, and I am so excited to start this new chapter and share the causes close to my heart.”
Bebb also shared her honour in taking on the role and continuing the work of the women empowerment platform that comes with it. She said, “It is an honour to step into this role and to continue the work of this incredible women empowerment platform.”
Verushka Singh, the former Mrs South Africa, decided to step down to focus on her family and personal life. She reflected on her time in the spotlight with gratitude.
She said, “I am grateful for the opportunity to have served on this platform and for the incredible women I’ve had the privilege of standing alongside. This decision is entirely my own, made with my family’s needs at heart, and I step away with nothing but appreciation for Mrs South Africa and what it stands for.”
With Carika Bebb now taking the crown, fans and the organisation are excited to see the causes she will champion and the impact she will make as the new face of Mrs South Africa 2026.
