Access to reliable information, funding opportunities and agricultural support services can make a significant difference to farmers seeking to grow their businesses and strengthen their communities. The Amandlambe Traditional Community Farmers’ Information Day, held today at Tshabo 2 Community Hall, brought together government departments, development organisations and other stakeholders to help local farmers understand the support available to them. The Eastern Cape Rural Development Agency (ECRDA), together with the Department of Agriculture, joined the gathering to share information and engage with the farming community. The event created an opportunity for farmers to learn more about resources that could support their agricultural activities and business development goals. Through collaboration and knowledge-sharing, the initiative aimed to empower local farmers and contribute to sustainable rural development.
