DA federal leader Geordin Hill-Lewis has rejected Solidarity’s proposal to invoke the government of national unity’s (GNU) clearing house mechanism over South Africa’s deteriorating relations with the US, saying the process is too slow to protect the country’s preferential trade access through the African Growth and Opportunity Act (Agoa).
