If I’m going to buy a grocery store muffin (you know the ones I mean — the jumbo muffins lovingly lined up in a plexiglass case in the bakery section, enticing you with their sugary, crusty tops), it’s going to be a chocolate chunk muffin. I’m sorry, but I simply do not have time for a cinnamon muffin or, Beyoncé-forbid, a bran muffin. No thank you.
