Kohler’s Dekoda, an award winning product design, is a compact health tracker that passively collects biological data from routine bathroom visits turning the everyday routine into an opportunity to monitor personal wellbeing. At the centre of the system is Dekoda, a compact health tracker that attaches to the rim of most toilets without tools, using advanced sensors, it analyses waste during authenticated bathroom visits, providing insights into your gut health, hydration and blood presence. Users can track patterns over time and add contextual information including food, medication, physical activity, to better understand how everyday behaviours may relate to their health trends.
