Microsoft improves Windows 11 optimization for PCs with 8GB RAM

Microsoft is finally admitting Windows 11 itself is part of the reason PCs feel sluggish, and it says fixing that is now a priority through the end of 2026. Windows president Pavan Davuluri posted an update on the Windows quality commitment Microsoft first made back in March, and memory optimization for 8GB systems is one of the headline items.
