and what they actually want..

Growing up with a blind sister, I’ve learned a lot about what blind people truly need. We grew up in a small village where people treated her differently cause she couldn’t see.

when her eye operation didn’t work for 100% and the chances of gaining vision was too low, the villagers immediately advised my parents that there is no point to send her school, it’s obvious that she can’t do anything.

my father didn’t said a single word and simply joined her in red cross school where she started studying Braille (the script that used by blind people).

untill 10th grade she lived in the school hostel there was all the facilities available which blind people need. after that there was no special school at that time , she studied in normal college and university. Braille exams were not longer possible so she needed a writer. I became the writer for many times and because of that I connected with more friends and juniors and seniors of them.

I became close to them heard their stories,struggle and their dreams. they were very innovative. they were into sports, tech , software , businesses and many leading roles.

and honestly? it changed my view towards them. they are doing Everything that society believes they can’t.
