THE FUSE

As a Texas native, I’m an enormous fan of steak — so much so that if there was one dish I had to eat every day for the rest of my life, that would be it. Unfortunately, since moving to New York, I don’t eat it quite as often anymore. Due to a combination of budgeting and a busy schedule, I don’t usually keep cuts of steak stocked in my fridge, and I only ever make trips to a steakhouse for a special occasion. I’m aiming to rectify the situation this year, though, making a point to carve out some time to make at least a few steak dinners during the holidays.
