Eastern Cape Agriculture Supports Youth and Women with New Equipment

The Eastern Cape Department of Agriculture is increasing support for women and youth through a new push to strengthen local production. The department handed over industrial machines and two hand held tractors to help communities expand food production and boost income from arts, crafts and clothing. MEC Nonceba Kontsiwe led the handover to cooperatives in Matatiele that are run by young people and women.
