Top Billing Returns on S3 in April 2026

South African television icon and former beauty queen Basetsana Kumalo has expressed excitement and gratitude as the beloved lifestyle programme Top Billing prepares for its long-awaited return in April 2026.

The new season will air on Thursday, 30 April 2026 at 19:00 on S3. Viewers can also catch repeats every Sunday at 13:00 on S3, with additional broadcasts on Tuesdays at 21:30 on SABC.

In a joint announcement shared with SABC 3, SABC 1 and Dr Michael Mol, and Basetsana Kumalo. The show celebrated the return, saying: “After years off your screens… we’re finally back. #TopBilling returns, bigger, better, and by popular demand. From spectacular homes to inspiring stories, the show you love is ready to take its place back in your weekly lineup. This comeback is powered by you, our #TopBilling family, who never stopped asking for more.”

They added, “Don’t miss the premiere: Thursday, 30 April 7PM S3 The wait is over. Tune in.”

According to SABC 3, Top Billing, South Africa’s longest-running and most iconic entertainment and lifestyle programme, is returning after a long break.

For nearly three decades, the show shaped ideas of aspirational living, showcasing luxury homes, travel destinations, celebrity moments, and inspiring local success stories. It became a cultural favourite known for celebrating excellence and lifestyle storytelling.

The new season will focus on young, urban, intelligent, and culturally aware South Africans who are driving change through creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

It will explore themes such as design, travel, entrepreneurship, innovation, and culture, highlighting how South Africans live, connect, and express themselves today.

The programme aims to deliver a fresh and relatable viewing experience that feels both inspiring and accessible.
