Rachel Kolisi has shared heartwarming news about the Impilo Project, revealing that a generous donation has helped secure the remaining funding needed for its upcoming Mandela Day initiative.

Taking to Instagram, the author and speaker posted an emotional video after what she described as one of the best meetings she has ever had. She revealed that the foundation had been worried about raising enough money before Mandela Day. However, everything changed during a meeting with Finance Crypto.

In the video, Rachel said, “I just finished probably my favourite meeting in the whole world ever in my life time. We had a meeting scheduled with Finance Crypto within the first five minutes, the lady that we were meeting with said that Binance Southern Africa would be covering the rest of the costs for Mandela Day. So, whatever hasn’t been raised yet they will cover. I’m just super grateful and thankful to every single one of you who has donated as well, even for the R20’s and the R50’s. We’re going to do amazing work on Mandela Day.”

Rachel also reflected on how meaningful partnerships have become for the foundation. She explained that serving others has always been one of her core values, but she has learned that making a real difference is never something that can be done alone.

In the caption of her post, she wrote, “Where does one even begin… When serving others is one of your core values, you quickly realise that you can never do it alone. Every healthcare day, every act of service and every story is only possible because people choose to show up.”

She went on to explain that as Mandela Day approached, the foundation was still facing a significant funding gap. Then, to her surprise, Binance Southern Africa reached out with an offer to cover the remaining costs.

“As Mandela Day drew closer, we were still carrying a significant funding gap and quietly wondering how we were going to get there. Then @binancesa reached out and offered to fund the remaining balance, ensuring that every single person who walks through our doors on 18 July will receive the care they deserve.”

Rachel said she does not take moments like these for granted and believes partnerships like this show the true power of people working together.

She added, “Through the @fallingforwardfoundation, one of our greatest hopes is to bring people, corporates, organisations and communities together to create lasting impact. This partnership is exactly what that looks like. Collaboration has the power to change lives.”

Rachel also thanked the Binance Southern Africa team, everyone who has donated to the foundation, and the Impilo Project for their continued support.

She ended her message by saying, “A massive thank you to the incredible team at Binance for believing in this vision, as well as to everyone who has donated thus far and to the @impiloproject, whose commitment to community healthcare continues to inspire me every single day. I can’t wait to show you all what we’re building together. Here’s to serving 670 lives this Mandela Day.”
