There was a time a couple of years ago when I was all about my slow cooker. Especially on days when I was in the office, it was so much easier to start a pot roast in the morning and come home to a fully cooked meal. But sometime in the last year, my old slow cooker and I started seeing less and less of each other. Now I never reach for it anymore.
