Thandeka Tshabalala, who competed in Big Brother Mzansi Season 6, is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about stars after the show’s finale on Sunday, March 2026. The reality TV star has gained a massive following, with over 100,000 followers since the show came to an end.

Thandeka finished as the second runner-up in the competition, while Liyema Pantsi walked away with the winning title. Despite not winning, Thandeka has captured the attention and support of many fans across the country.

The 30-year-old recently spoke about her experience in the Big Brother house during a short interview with entertainment journalist Goodwill Thomo. Reflecting on her time in the competition, she said, “Amazing! It was an amazing journey. Yes, did I want to leave ? Were there times when things were not worth my time? Absolutely. I showed up for you guys. You guys kept me in there. Guess what? I never got evicted.”

Her words show just how much she values her supporters, who helped her stay in the game until the very end. Throughout the season, Thandeka became known for her strong personality and willingness to stand her ground.

In another interview with Sowetan, Thandeka opened up about how she felt about not winning the competition. She confidently said, “First of all, I am the Bazozwa Queen. That’s just the truth of it. I came there to be me and I already said I’m a winner. Liema came in with followers; I came in alone. I’m still the Bazozwa Queen, but I’m happy for her.”

When asked whether she believed she had done enough to win, Thandeka did not hold back. She said, “I would have won had Liema not had a fanbase and had we all started from ground zero. Yeah, I would have definitely won, 100%.”

Thandeka also addressed the tension between her and Liyema during the show. Their clashes were a big part of the season and often got viewers talking. Explaining the situation, she said, “I feel it was her strategy to fight with me. She’s played the game before but I came in to be me. Some arguments were personal, some about advocating for housemates’ safety, like food hygiene. She felt she had the authority, I just felt I had to stand my ground. It was calculated on both sides but she knew her strategy was going to work to approach me instead of other housemates.”

Even though she did not win the grand prize, Thandeka Tshabalala has clearly won the hearts of many viewers. With her growing fanbase and strong presence, it is clear that her journey in the spotlight is only just beginning.
