Hail, heavy downpours and excessive lightning could cause flooding over northern KwaZulu-Natal, the extreme east of the Free State and the Mpumalanga Highveld, with Level 2 storms also expected over Gauteng, southern KwaZulu-Natal and central-southern Limpopo. Rustenburg is among the hottest at 34°C, while Thohoyandou, Musina, Alldays and Lephalale have a Level 10 veld fire warning from 10:00 to 18:59.
