There is a moment that most people do not realize is happening, and that is the moment right before you get overwhelmed. Before the tears, the shutdown, or the irritation comes out of nowhere. It is the moment your body tries to get your attention in a subtle and quiet way. A lot of us miss that moment. We do not miss it because we are careless, but because we were taught to push through or to be fine. But the body does not play along with that way forever. It speaks early and honestly, and when we start to notice those early cues, then things begin to make more sense to our minds.
