Kaizer Chiefs Move to Secure Glody Lilepo with New Contract Extension Talks Amid Growing Interest

Kaizer Chiefs are preparing to secure one of their standout performers, Glody Makabi Lilepo, with a contract extension as he approaches the completion of his first full season at the club. The Congolese forward has quickly become an important figure at Naturena since arriving in South Africa, delivering consistent performances that have strengthened the team’s attacking options. His impact has not gone unnoticed by both supporters and rival clubs, which has placed him firmly in the spotlight. Beyond club football, Lilepo’s international situation remains complicated despite DR Congo qualifying for the World Cup. His relationship with national team coach Sebastien Desabre is still unresolved, which has affected his recent involvement with the national side. He has not featured for DR Congo since June 2023, leaving a gap in his international career during a crucial development period.
