Back in 2025, I wrote a piece on what I then considered to be the most insane book I’ve ever read, Blitzed: Drug Use in Nazi Germany by Norman Ohler. I’m still very happy with how the essay turned out, and I think I gave a good overview of the book and how I read it. With that being said, however, I have since read another book which is surely all the more insane, that being The Dirt: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band by Mötley Crüe.
