The 2025 Formula 1 season heads to Doha for the Qatar Grand Prix - the penultimate race of the season.

McLaren's Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri were disqualified from the Las Vegas Grand Prix for technical infringements, meaning there's even more to play for during the final sprint weekend of the 2025 campaign.

In the aftermath of the race in Las Vegas, the skid blocks of both McLaren cars were found to have less than the minimum depth.

The disqualification has major ramifications on the drivers' championship battle, with Norris' lead over Max Verstappen now 24 points.

The Dutchman is also level on 366 points with Piastri in light of the disqualification.

Commentary will be available across BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra, BBC Sounds and the BBC Sport website and app.

Clear skies and a gentle breeze is the early forecast for the second race of this final triple-header.

The conditions should be dry across all three days of track action in Doha, with temperatures around 23C to 24C for Saturday's qualifying session and Sunday's race.

Yes, he can.

With two races remaining - Qatar next week and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix the week after - Norris leads the championship with a 24-points gap on Piastri and Verstappen.

He would need to score two more points than both over the course of the weekend, but he won't be able to win the title in the sprint race, but could in the grand prix on Sunday.

There are a maximum of 58 points available in the final two grands prix.
