Episode two will stream on Showmax on 27 February 2026 and broadcast on Mzansi Magic on 28 February 2026.
Since The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip launched in 2021, this is the first time that an Ultimate Girls Trip cast has reunited after the season. This makes RHUGT: Africa a major milestone for the global franchise and a proud moment for African television.
Showmax spoke to MaBlerh about hosting this groundbreaking reunion, what viewers should expect, and why this season is so important for the franchise.
The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa is the first Ultimate Girls Trip in the world to host a reunion. What does that represent for the franchise?
“It represents Africa taking the lead on a global stage. This season sets a new standard and proves that Africa can deliver premium, appointment-viewing television at the highest level.”
How would you describe the season overall?
“The season is dramatic, intense and completely unfiltered. The emotions are real, the conflicts are real, and nothing feels manufactured. I have been glued to my screen every week watching the drama play out.”
The season has kept fans talking on social media, with heated debates and strong opinions about the cast dynamics and conflicts. Many viewers have been waiting for the reunion to see unresolved issues finally addressed.
Fans expect everything to be addressed. How do you intend to give them what they want?
“Going into this reunion, I plan to address everything head on. Everyone will be held accountable and everything will be put on the table. My approach is not to avoid any topic or soften the truth. If it happened, it will be discussed openly and honestly.”
With big personalities in the room, hosting a reunion can be challenging, especially when emotions are still raw.
With such strong personalities in the cast, how will you remain impartial?
“I am a professional, and I have been curating conversations for years. I remain impartial by holding everyone to the same standard. There will be no favouritism, no special treatment and no protection from accountability.”
Reunions are known for tense moments, and MaBlerh admits that discomfort is part of the process.
Are there moments where you think conversations might be uncomfortable?
“Yes, and those moments are necessary. I host with no fear, and I believe uncomfortable conversations often lead to the most honest television.”
How does RHUGT: Africa differ from other Housewives instalments?
“This season feels bigger and bolder. The setting adds depth, the cast brings history, and the conversations go further than viewers may expect.”
Hosting such a historic reunion is also a major personal achievement for MaBlerh.
What does hosting this landmark season mean for you personally?
“It is a career-defining moment. Hosting the first Ultimate Girls Trip reunion in the world, on African soil, is something I am incredibly proud of.”
Why should people watch the reunion?
“People should watch the reunion to see how the story ends. There has been a lot of conversation online and everywhere else, and the reunion gives the women the opportunity to answer for themselves and speak directly to what has been said.”
Viewers can stream episode one of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa reunion on 20 February 2026 and episode two on 27 February 2026 on Showmax.
