Bordeaux is often regarded for its 18th-century limestone grandeur and UNESCO-listed classicism, as well as its role as the gateway to one of the world’s premier wine regions. A 10-minute walk from the historic Saint-André Cathedral, the Mériadeck district is defined by bold, 1970s brutalist-inspired modernist blocks and a brimming art scene. It’s here, amid a revitalized concrete landscape, that Marty Hotel Bordeaux has put down roots, not just as a boutique hotel tucked away from the tourist-heavy city center, but as an art hub for the surrounding community. The 61-key, independently managed urban stay is part of Hilton’s premium Tapestry Collection.
