There are many ways in which people on the political right are thoroughly disingenuous. I’ve talked many times on here about how the right will use issues such as sexual assault or other crimes committed by immigrants in a purely cynical way to justify attacking immigrants. Such arguments made by the right are dishonest because they don’t actually care about problems of sexual assault or violence against women, and are only using these issues because it's politically expedient for them.
