South African television presenter and media personality Bonang Matheba is celebrating her 39th birthday in one of the most beautiful destinations in the world, France.
Bonang is currently attending the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2026, where she was invited as a speaker and high-profile personality in the creator and marketing space. The prestigious event took place from Tuesday, 23 June until Thursday, 25 June 2026, bringing together some of the biggest names in media, creativity and technology.
As part of the festival, Bonang participated in a panel discussion titled “The Algorithm Doesn’t Know Your Culture: Building Trust in the Age of AI”, which was held on Tuesday at the DEPT Secret Garden. The discussion focused on the growing role of artificial intelligence and how culture plays an important role in building trust in a rapidly changing digital world.
Taking to Instagram, Bonang shared snippets from her first day at Cannes Lions on Wednesday, 24 June. The media star gave her followers a glimpse of her exciting experience, her stunning outfit and her excitement about being part of the global event.
For the occasion, Bonang wore a beautiful red Musa Maxwell outfit paired with elegant black stiletto heels. Looking stylish as always, she expressed how thrilled she was to be attending the festival for the first time.
