I hate bullies!

Well, I used to. Now, I just have pity for them. They bully others to make themselves feel some sort of power, control or they are just compensating for something. Either way, they lack something and bullying others gives them the illusion of having what they lack. So, I now have just pity for them. My initial hatred stems from this experience. One of the scariest days of my life.

Meet the bullies

Peter and Paul(not their real names). Notorious Cousins. The evil duo. They were older than all the kids and teens in the neighborhood. Their word is law. You can’t play football on the playground or the local school field without their say so. You don’t join in the after —school hunting “expedition” without them giving you the nod. Every activity, extracurricular or recreational, needs their stamp of approval. Everyone works hard to be in their good graces. That was the currency to buy into anything in that neighbourhood. If you don’t have it, don’t bother coming out of your house! They will instigate, and force kids to fight for their own pleasure. Then make mockery of the defeated kid, just to make him feel worthless. They were a pair of meanies! Reporting to your parents did no good. In fact, it made life more unbearable for you.
