Reality TV star, content creator and YouTuber Vuyokazi Nciweni has reached an important milestone in her life after graduating from the University of South Africa (UNISA).
The Izingane Zes’thembu star recently shared a glimpse of her special day with her followers. Although she did not reveal much about the occasion on her Instagram Story, she posted her graduation ceremony invitation and a photo of herself holding a UNISA graduation scroll holder.
According to her Instagram Story, her graduation ceremony took place in Cape Town on Wednesday, 24 June 2026.
The graduation comes months after Vuyokazi proudly announced that she had successfully completed her qualification and achieved an impressive 11 distinctions. Her academic achievement received praise from supporters who have followed her journey both on television and social media.
Earlier this year, Vuyokazi opened up about her educational journey during an interview with BabyYumYum, where she spoke about the qualification she pursued and the passion behind her studies.
“I started in 2020 and studied corrections management, which focuses on the rehabilitation of offenders. It falls under the law department and involves working in juvenile prisons, rehabilitating young offenders, keeping track of their progress and making sure that when they are released, they do not return to committing crimes.”
She explained that her upbringing played a major role in inspiring her career path and desire to make a difference in the lives of young people.
“It’s because of the environment I grew up in. As a girl from a township, I saw many children growing up in broken homes, dropping out of school, getting into trouble and becoming involved in crime and drugs. I didn’t like seeing that, so I decided I wanted to help them get off the streets and see that there is always something better to do. This course includes elements of social work and has a lot to offer.”
Reflecting on the moment she received her results, Vuyokazi described it as one of the proudest moments of her life.
“When I received my results, I was not thinking much about them at first. I was going through my email when, at the same time, I received an SMS notification. That is when it finally sank in that I had completed my studies. I felt incredibly excited. I realised I had not only passed but had performed exceptionally well. I counted about 11 distinctions. It was a proud moment and a clear reminder that all my hard work and dedication had paid off.”
