Media personality and radio presenter Lerato Kganyago got people talking after she became emotional during a live stream where she opened up about her marriage, personal struggles, and the difficult season she and her husband, businessman Thami Ndlala, have been facing behind the scenes.

During the heartfelt live session, Lerato became tearful as she spoke honestly about the pressure and criticism that she and her husband have experienced since getting married. According to Lerato, the constant negativity from people has deeply affected both of them over the years.

Crying and feeling emotional, Lerato said, “Life is tough and I think life is even more tough for us because just hate us. From day number one that we got married, and I think that’s why we still have not had the white wedding.”

She continued by praising her husband for remaining strong despite the challenges they have faced together.

“My partner is very strong. The past couple of months have been tough. Being accused of things you know nothing about, having people look at you differently,” she said.

Lerato explained that the pressure has not only affected her personally but has also affected their family life. She admitted that the past few months have been emotionally draining for the couple.

“It’s been tough. The last couple of months have been really tough on my family; it’s just the two of us. We felt we’re being fought from left, right and centre, and fought for something that is so silly,” she shared.

“Its just like what am I doing wrong,” she said emotionally.

“You host an award ceremony, which I just did. I kicked a** with Lawrence but no one will ever give you the credit, not that I sit here and look for credit. And I think that’s why a lot of people hate me because I don’t go out seeking validation,” she said.

The radio personality also addressed criticism surrounding their hotel business and claims people have made about them. She also shut down allegations suggesting her husband’s business success was tied to government corruption.

“Our hotel has made a big deal and now we are cursed by people, we are eating money and I’m like if only yall knew that my husband doesn’t even like tenders. He likes his own things. He will start with the R1 that he has.”
