Men want to be better.
Who do they follow to get there in time? Inside reality? Who?
What arrangement do men have with the past that was supposed to teach men how to become the future?
We want to be loving.
We want to be courageous.
We want to be wise.
Not in theory.
In our bodies. In our minds. In our souls.
In our actions, we want to become men.
Historically, many generations of men have learned through conflict the power of love, courage, and wisdom through the bonds of brotherhood forged in war.
Combat with the “Other.”
The enemy of the moment.
The trivial justifications the future can never quite understand when it looks back and asks:
