Police Minister Senzo Mchunu, who is on special leave, has denied allegations levelled against him by Lt-Colonel Deena Govender, who testified at the Madlanga Commission that Mchunu asked him to "throw Lt-Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi under the bus" over a KZN shooting.
