Hampshire all-rounder Andrew Neal has signed a two-year contract after impressing in the One Day Cup.
The 26-year-old played in all 11 of the Hawks' matches in the competition after joining the club on a short-term deal.
He was Hampshire's leading wicket-taker with 14 at an average of 30.85, as they reached the final where they were beaten by Worcestershire under Duckworth-Lewis-Stern rules at Trent Bridge.
"I'm delighted to join Hampshire on a full-time multi-year deal. I thoroughly enjoyed my short-term contract with them last year and got a real taste for the history and success of the club being involved in both white ball finals last season," he told the club's website.
"The environment under Nick Gubbins and Jimmy Adams in the One Day Cup was amazing to be a part of and I look forward to contributing more for Hampshire over the next couple of years."
As well as impressing in the One Day Cup, Neal made 17 appearances for Hampshire's second XI last season, taking 26 wickets.
