Ntando Rambani Invites Children’s Book Authors to Her New Salon

Actress and founder of Sbahle Siyakhula Salon, Ntando Rambani, is creating a special space for young readers and giving children’s book authors a chance to share their stories with more families.
Ntando recently announced that her brand-new Fourways salon now has a dedicated reading corner called Sbahle Siyafunda, which means “we are beautiful and we are learning.” The space has been designed to encourage children to read, learn, write, and express their creativity while visiting the salon.
Sharing the exciting news in a video on social media, Ntando explained that the reading corner is now open to children’s book authors who would like to display their books.
“Today I’ve got some really exciting news for you and your young ones. Our kiddies salon has a special place called Sbahle Siyafunda which translates to we are beautiful and we are learning. This section in the store is where we get our kids to read, learn and write and be their creative self as we are very big on broadening to the young ones.”
She went on to invite authors to become part of the initiative.
“We are now opening Sbahle Siyafunda to children’s book authors. We want you to come and display right here in this corner so our little children, our little ones can come and discovers new stories.”
Ntando also encouraged interested authors to contact the salon if they would like to feature their books.
“If you’re an author watching this and you’d like to feature your books in the corner, please reach out to us.”
In the caption of her post, she shared more details about the opportunity and the benefits available to authors.

The initiative offers children’s book authors a chance to introduce their stories to young readers while also connecting directly with parents. At the same time, it creates a welcoming environment where children can enjoy reading, learning, and discovering new books during their visit to the salon. Through Sbahle Siyafunda, Ntando is helping promote literacy while supporting local children’s authors.
