Italian media mercilessly tear into ‘disaster Dutchman’: ‘What a drama queen!’
Goal | 24.10.2026 23:12Sam Beukema has come in for scathing criticism in the Italian media after Napoli's 3-3 draw against AS Roma. The defender came on in the second half on Saturday and, according to several newspapers, played a leading role for the wrong reasons in Roma's comeback. His part in the late equaliser drew the fiercest criticism. The word 'disastro' (disaster) features prominently in Italian assessments of Beukema.
