Northern Cape Agriculture Department Engages More Than 500 Farmers to Strengthen Agricultural Development

The Northern Cape Department of Agriculture recently brought together more than 500 farmers from across the John Taolo Gaetsewe District for an important engagement focused on the future of agriculture in the province. Led by MEC Lebogang Motlhaping and Head of Department Mr. Zolile Monakali, the gathering created an opportunity for direct dialogue between government leaders and the farming community. The event reflected the department’s commitment to listening to the concerns of farmers while working collaboratively to strengthen the agricultural sector. Bringing together producers from different farming backgrounds allowed for meaningful discussions on the challenges and opportunities facing agriculture in the district.
