Dazzling pink sky seen in Birmingham during storm

Skies across the West Midlands turned a dazzling shade of pink on Thursday evening as Storm Goretti took hold in the region.

Images have been shared showing the phenomenon from Birmingham city centre, to Hednesford in Staffordshire.

There was speculation on social media it could have been the Northern Lights, with others suggesting it was a reflection from UV lights at Birmingham City Football Club's stadium.
