THE FUSE

Every year, Overwatch puts out a limited-time April Fools’ Day mode in which Blizzard says “forget balance, give me chaos.” This usually means cranking up the dials on each hero’s kits to absurd levels, making them ridiculously powerful, impractical, and sometimes the height of a medium-sized dog. The game’s current “Community Crafted” mode is kind of like that, and while none of its changes have made their way into the main game yet, I wouldn’t be surprised if Blizzard was viewing it as a kind of testing ground for potential tweaks and reworks.
