I have decided that my brain is worth more than my body. Hear me out.

If I can think, I possess more power than the beauty men adore.

If I can think, I can improve- and maybe, just maybe, one less person will die.

If I can think, I will use my mind not to count the calories in an apple, but to count how many pantries it would take to keep everyone alive.

If I can think, then I can write-and say words now one has shared.

If I Have strength, I can protest. Without protest, I cannot be part of the revolution, because the revolution will not be televised.

If I am strong, I can move toward the light.

Then men will hate my words, not my body.

I can change my body.

But I will be steadfast in my words.
