Gulet charters in Turkey: The yacht matters more than the route

There’s a moment I’ve seen happen a few times. A guest who came aboard a little unsure about a wooden boat, a bit sceptical, walks onto the deck of a really good gulet and just stops. Shaded dining table already laid for lunch, cushions piled at the bow, turquoise water in every direction. Then the cook appears with the first plate of mezze and that’s more or less it. They’re sold.
