It’s award season for video games, and that means it’s time to gear up for another hours-long commercial with some awards sprinkled in between the new trailers. The Game Awards is back this year and will be streaming live on December 11. Host Geoff Keighley is announcing this year’s nominees today, November 17, which are decided by a panel of different critics, journalists, and other industry figures. Funnily enough, we already know the nominees for the Game of the Year award because they were leaked beforehand, so we’ll start filling in the rest of the categories as they’re announced.
