Transfer report twist: German-Zimbabwean star not going to Kaizer Chiefs?

Reports linking Jonah Fabisch with a move to Kaizer Chiefs have taken another twist. Conflicting information has now raised fresh questions over whether the Zimbabwe international will join Amakhosi.

JONAH FABISCH LATEST EMERGES

Earlier on Thursday, Foot Africa correspondent Hlayisani Magoro reported that Kaizer Chiefs were in advanced talks with the 24-year-old midfielder. He claimed only the finer details and medical tests remained before the deal could be completed.

According to the publication, the midfielder is in Durban. He is reportedly closing in on a move to an unnamed KwaZulu-Natal Betway Premiership club.

Sources told KickOff.com that Fabisch attended the club’s training session on Thursday. He was reportedly accompanied by his agent and the club’s boss.

“He looks like he has already signed because he was there with everything, and his agent was also there,” the outlet said.

“They even introduced him to the coaching staff. That’s all I know at this stage, but it looks like he is joining.”

KAIZER CHIEFS LINK QUESTIONED

The latest report challenges the earlier claims linking Fabisch with Kaizer Chiefs. His next destination now appears far less certain than it did earlier in the day.

Neither Amakhosi nor the unnamed KwaZulu-Natal club have commented on the reports. Fabisch’s future therefore remains unresolved until an official announcement is made.

In the meantime, the Soweto giants have signed three players. Central defender Thabo Moloisane arrived from Stellenbosch FC. Goalkeeper Renaldo Leaner joined from Sekhukhune United. Kaizer Chiefs completed their latest signing by bringing in defensive midfielder Adolf Mtasingwa from Tanzanian club Azam FC.
