The fourth suspect wanted in connection with the killing of an e-hailing driver in Pretoria has handed himself over to police in Atteridgeville on Monday, 16 February. He is expected to appear before the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 17 February, where he will join his co-accused on charges of car hijacking and murder.
The case stems from an incident on Wednesday, 11 February, when the driver was allegedly killed after responding to a service request in Pretoria West. Preliminary investigations show that the victim was attacked by suspects who had requested the e-hailing service. The hijacked vehicle and the victim’s body were later found in Atteridgeville on the same day

With the fourth suspect now in police custody, all four accused are expected to face charges of car hijacking and murder as investigations continue.
