THE FUSE

Bilateral discussions between the Agricultural Research Council and Italy’s Council for Agricultural Research and Economics marked an important step forward in strengthening international cooperation in agricultural science and innovation. The engagement took place during the South Africa–Italy Agriculture Business Forum and focused on expanding joint research efforts that can support food security, climate resilience and agricultural productivity. Agricultural Research Council played a central role in the talks alongside Italy’s leading research institution, Council for Agricultural Research and Economics. The discussions brought together senior scientific and leadership figures who explored ways to align research priorities and share technical expertise. The overall goal was to build stronger scientific bridges between the two countries through practical collaboration and knowledge exchange.
