Meta will launch its smart glasses in South Africa

Meta and eyewear conglomerate EssilorLuxottica have officially announced plans to expand the retail availability of their smart glasses portfolio into 10 new international markets, including South Africa, Israel, Poland, and New Zealand. According to official company disclosures, the South African rollout will encompass the Oakley Meta, Ray-Ban Meta, and Ray-Ban Meta Optics product lines, establishing an official domestic retail presence for the hardware later this year.
