Staying with the GBVF crisis.
Members of March and March have picketed outside the Western Cape Legislature against Gender-Based Violence, calling for the death penalty against perpetrators of these crimes.
The protest comes as the country struggles with a wave of gender-based violence, and the killing of 12 women in Ekurhuleni, since July.
The group has handed over a memorandum of demands, calling on the Western Cape Government take a strong approach against GBVF.
