Proverb Graduates with His MBA

South African rapper, radio broadcaster and television personality ProVerb is celebrating a major milestone after officially graduating with his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Regenesys Business School.
The media personality, who began his MBA journey in 2024, shared photos from his graduation ceremony on Instagram and reflected on the hard work, sacrifices and determination it took to reach this achievement.
“Tonight, a dream years in the making finally crossed the stage with me. From lecture notes between radio links, assignments after long production days, research, rewriting, sacrifice, self-doubt & perseverance. Tonight I officially graduate with my MBA,” he wrote.
Proverb also spoke about how emotional and rewarding the moment felt after years of balancing his studies with his demanding career in entertainment and broadcasting.
“Tonight, standing in my graduation gown, every sacrifice suddenly made sense. I graduate with my MBA deeply humbled, deeply grateful & deeply aware that this achievement belongs to everyone who walked this road with me.”
He encouraged others who may be chasing their dreams while trying to manage everyday responsibilities not to give up.
“To anybody chasing a dream while juggling real life, keep going. Your breakthrough moment may be closer than you think.”
The star ended off his message with a reminder about growth and self-development, writing: “A reminder that reinvention is possible, growth is intentional and learning never expires. Here’s to the next chapter. #MBA”
Following the announcement, Proverb received an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fellow celebrities and supporters in the entertainment industry.
Model and author Refilwe Modiselle commented, “This is incredible CONGRATS Abuti hle.”
Actress Lerato Mvelase wrote, “A moment of great pride. You did so well, congratulations.”
Media personality Basetsana Kumalo also shared her excitement, commenting, “Congrats my brother! Onwards and upwards!”
