Kaizer Chiefs take to the road to face Richards Bay

Kaizer Chiefs will make their second away trip of the 2026/27 Betway Premiership season when they travel to Durban to face Richards Bay FC next Wednesday, 26 August.

The match will be played at Princess Magogo Stadium (19:30) with Amakhosi looking to build on a positive start to the campaign.

Kaizer Chiefs have played their first three home fixtures at FNB Stadium and currently sit joint-top of the Betway Premiership standings on seven points, alongside three other teams, Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and AmaZulu.

Following their most recent outing against Mamelodi Sundowns last Saturday, the Glamour Boys have a 10-day break before their next league assignment.

That extended period could prove valuable for the Kaizer Chiefs technical team, who will be hoping to see several key players return from injury ahead of the trip to KwaZulu-Natal.

Richards Bay searching for first win

Meanwhile, Richards Bay have collected just two points from their opening three matches and will be desperate to turn their home advantage into a positive result.

The Natal Rich Boyz are expected to provide a stern test for Kaizer Chiefs, with the Durban side known for their resilience.

Kaizer Chiefs, meanwhile, will be targeting a victory that would take their tally to 10 points and keep them firmly in the early title race.
