THE FUSE

The Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has strengthened efforts to support local farmers by connecting them to new market opportunities during the State of the District Address held in Vhembe District Municipality. The event, delivered by Executive Mayor Cllr Miyelani Chauke, included a strong agricultural exhibition component led by the department through the Vhembe Central Agro-ecological Zone. The initiative focused on linking farmers directly with buyers, stakeholders and business networks in a structured public platform. It created an environment where agricultural producers could showcase their products and demonstrate the value of local farming. The participation formed part of a broader strategy to improve rural economic development and expand market access for small and emerging farmers.
