Missing Star Wars Cartoon Co-Created By George Lucas Will Finally Get Public Release
Kotaku | 24.07.2026 23:00Star Wars Detours, an animated comedy series created by franchise creator George Lucas and Robot Chicken creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, was first shown to the public at Star Wars Celebration VI in 2012. This was just months before Disney bought Lucasfilm. Once Disney showed up, it looked at the partially completed series and decided not to air it. Now, 14 years later, Detours will finally be made publicly available as part of a new art museum from George Lucas.
