London Pulse shares a video introducing SPAR Proteas Kamogelo Maseko as she is set to shine in London while embracing the challenge of defending the Pulse crown.
London, England (23 February 2026) – Kamogelo Maseko is swapping the Gauteng courts for London as she joins reigning Netball Super League champions, London Pulse, for the 2026 season. London Pulse shared a video of the attacker on their social media pages and you’re immediately drawn in by her personality, explaining how she started playing the game.
Known for her attacking flair and versatility at wing attack and goal attack, Kamogelo brings a wealth of experience from her time with the SPAR Proteas and her successful stint with Gauteng Jaguars in South Africa’s premier netball league.
“Growing up, I grew up with a lot of boys, so initially, I wanted to play soccer. But when I got to primary school, all the girls were playing netball, and I was like, okay. So that’s how I started.”
Her journey through various positions (both in defender and attack) reflects a player who is not afraid to adapt and take risks.
“I lied about my position in high school and said I was a goal attack. And surprisingly, I killed it.”
Joining London Pulse as the defending champions adds its own challenge, but she welcomes it.
“Coming into Pulse and knowing that we are the defending champions, it obviously adds a lot of pressure. But I always say pressure is a privilege.”
Fans at home in South Africa have been a constant source of support throughout her rise.
“I know how much love and support and just words of encouragement you guys have for me.”
With her international experience, making her SPAR Proteas debut at 18, competing in the 2025 Vitality Netball Nations Cup in the UK and finishing the year with a Netball Africa Cup winner’s medal Kamogelo brings confidence to a London Pulse team looking to defend its crown.
