Axian Group and the African Development Bank have launched a major financial inclusion programme targeting more than 34,000 women-led enterprises across five African countries. Backed by Affirmative Finance Action for Women in Africa (Afawa) and We-Fi, the programme will combine digital finance, business support and skills development to tackle one of the most persistent barriers facing women entrepreneurs – access to the capital they need to grow.
